Welcome

We believe that children's development should be through exploring the world around them independently using natural and real life materials to develop and explore their curiosity and imagination.

At Cwtch Childcare we believe children should be able to choose and take charge of their play and learning. We believe that their development should be through exploring the world around them using natural and real life materials to develop and explore their curiosity and imagination.

Promoting independence, developing problem solving skills, allowing adventurous play to be taken in a safe environment and allowing imaginations to grow is what Cwtch do. We believe that this is fundamental to the health, well being and learning of every child no matter what their ability.

Cwtch are committed to promoting the natural environment, sustainability and doing our bit for the environment. Our settings are modern, focused on allowing children to explore in a home to home environment, with plenty of real-life equipment, natural resources and role model items for play. It is not uncommon to find the staff and children learning in weird and wonderful ways, using the most obscure objects which are not always ‘new’ to learn and play ~ this is Cwtch Childcare.

Both my children have thrived at Cwtch. They have such a wonderful environment in which to learn social skills, independence and the Welsh language, which is a great foundation for when they start school.

Cwtch has provided a wonderful nurturing environment for our daughter. I was anxious about my first child starting nursery but she settled really well as the staff have such a wonderful way of putting both parent and child at ease. We are very impressed at the way in which the nursery keeps us informed of her progress and are always available to answer any questions that we have.
